Terms & Conditions
1. PAYMENT FOR ITEMS
Please make payment within 5 working days. I can accept payment via Paypal, Cheque & Postal Order. Details will be sent by automatic email shortly after your purchase.
Non-paying bidders will be treated in the normal way – report to Ebay, negative feedback. In cases where listing upgrade fees are lost, non-paying bidders will be invoiced that amount.
2. WARRANTY CLAIMS
Most of my items are covered by some sort of warranty. If an item isn’t covered, this will be very clear in the listing. The warranty period starts on the delivery date of your item. See note (3) for details on making a claim.
3. RETURNS
Although internet auctions are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations (http://www.oft.gov.uk/Business/Legal/DSR/distance+selling+regulations+exceptions.htm) I am happy to accept returned items on the following conditions. They must be unused, and still in their original box where applicable, with all accessories. A restocking charge of 15% will apply, and P&P costs are non-refundable.
If an item becomes faulty within the warranty period, or is dead on arrival, it can be returned for a refund of the purchase price and return P&P (the initial P&P is non-refundable). If an identical item is in stock, a replacement will be sent free of charge.
Please e-mail me before returning an item when further instructions will be given. Any items returned without authorisation will be put aside.
In all returns cases, please allow up to 10 working days for refunds / replacements to be processed.
4. POSTAGE AND PACKING COSTS
These are clearly stated in the listings. I do endeavour to reduce P&P for multiple purchases. However in some cases the reduction may be small – especially with parcels. Please email for combined P&P quotes before buying from different listings.
5. OVERSEAS BUYERS
Very welcome on most of my listings. I do not post heavy parcels overseas due to the cost. And some expensive items are posted to U.K only to reduce the risk of loss. Payment from overseas bidders must be via Paypal, and must be made within 5 working days.
6. PROCESSING TIME
Your order will be sent out after payment...
Paypal (confirmed address) – 1 to 2 working days
Postal Order (uncrossed, with item details and delivery address noted) – 1 to 2 working days
Cheque (with item details and delivery address noted) – 4 to 5 working days
Bank Transfer (buyer must email to confirm transfer on way) – 4 to 5 working days
Paypal (unconfirmed address) – 5 to 7 working days, may be rejected for expensive items
Postal Order (crossed – requires same clearance as cheque) – 4 to 5 working days
7. COLLECTIONS
Collections can be made from my high street shop located in Thame, Oxfordshire, UK during normal working hours.
